About us

Inotel is an infrastructure operator based in Romania. We run validators and nodes for proof of stake networks, and we do IT work for companies that need systems kept running rather than launched and forgotten.

We have worked with crypto since 2016 and have been an active validator since 2020. Our manager has been in IT since 2008, with experience across a broad set of areas, the most depth in devops and sysops, and AI work more recently. None of this was started as a side project during a good quarter.

Today we run validators on Osmosis, Solana, Terra, AtomOne and c8ntinuum. We are a Chainlink node operator on mainnet, contributing to the price reference data feeds, and we hold one of the 19 Guardian seats on Wormhole, where we also run a validator on Wormhole Gateway. Those last two are not delegation targets: a node operator publishes data and a Guardian signs observations, and neither one takes stake.

Where a network publishes a validator registry, the page for that network links to it and carries the address we sign with and the commission we charge there. What this site claims about us is meant to be checked, not taken on trust, and a field we cannot source is left empty rather than filled with a figure that merely reads well.

The hardware sits in Romania, under our own control, and the path in front of it is built in layers: traffic is filtered before it reaches anything of ours, a distribution and aggregation tier stands between the internet and the validating nodes, and the publicly exposed nodes are separate from the ones that hold signing keys. Separation is the whole point. A node that answers the internet is not a node that can sign.

Delegating does not transfer custody. Your tokens stay in your account, you can withdraw them after the network unbonding period, and the rewards are split according to the commission published for that network.

Infrastructure

  • DDoS protection

    Traffic is filtered before it reaches the nodes, so a flood aimed at a public endpoint is absorbed in front of the machines that sign rather than by them.

  • Distribution and aggregation

    A dedicated distribution and aggregation layer sits between the internet and the validating nodes. Peers talk to that layer, which means a validating node can be moved, rebuilt or replaced without the rest of the network noticing.

  • Exchange layer and core

    Publicly exposed nodes are kept separate from the signing nodes. The keys live on machines that answer nobody directly, and that boundary is the one that has to hold even when something in front of it does not.

  • Validator hosted in Romania

    The hardware sits physically in Romania, under our direct control. We choose the components and we hold the console, so there is nobody between us and the machine.
